I feel like the expert on head lice. My daughter first got in kindergarten 5 years ago, I cleaned her up easily and sent her back to school, were she proceeded to get it again and again, very two weeks. I was preganant at the time and she gave it to me I was told that Lice like thin fine hairm, which we both have. Since I was in the aerly stages of preganancy I was avdised not to use pesticedes on me for tyhe the first three months. I combed them out, I tried mayo, olive oil, you name it I tried it. it would go away for a few weeks and it would be back I tried tquell from a prescription dcotor gave me $75..00 for the jar same thing. MY ADVICe to you is to act fast use ruid, or nix and brush your hair every day for three weeks with a five tooth comb, that will eliminate the new lice that have hatched. If you keep reapplying the pesticide they beome immune to it. As in our case. I could put the nix, rid, or quell in my daughters hair rinse her hair and the lice would be walikng in her hair like nothing. We have finally gotten rid of it. But after approx $700 in medicines, for me, my oldest daughter and the baby.
