For years I have been "bugged" by severe itch on my feet..no rash..no outbreak..no athletes foo t.just an internal,intense itch. Usually one foot at a time. Can be toe, heel, side of heel, never top of foot. Dr. has prescribed various drugs and rubs and Atarax (not generic) sometimes helps. But the cause is the puzzle..can it be elevated phosphates and histamines and how is this controlled? I take thyroid medication. Does age have some bearing? I'm a mere 85...so circulation may be a problem I'm not aware of!
