My mother-in-law has kidney stones for also about 30 yrs. Until recently she found out what was causing them. She produces to much calcium. They did a 24 hr. urine on her and some other tests on her parathyroid. This could've been taken care of years ago. If only the right tests had been done. Over the years she's had about 10 stones. Now she is going to have one of her parathyroids removed. You might want to have some blood work done to see what is causing it. Good Luck.
