Hello, I had 'itchy ears' too, for over a year. My doctor, which was a specialist, told me to use the liquid for athletes feet for 6 weeks.That did not help, even tho it is a fungal infection, and you should never get water into the ears, this can cause it. I went to another doctor, and he gave me a cream called mycolog. It stopped the itch immediately, as soon as it went into the ear. I had to use it in both ears tho, for 7 days, and hearing was not too good.But it is well worth it to get rid of the infection.I still have to use it about every 3 mos. or so.
