My son acted the same way. He is most likely over stimulated in stores. This is common of dyspraxic children. (My 9 year old son was the same way) As far as hitting other children there is probably a reason. He is most likely very frustrated by his inabilities to do something that other children can do or his inability to communicate with other children. This again is very common of dyspraxic children. It is frustrating, however he needs you more than anything. Especially to understand that his mind thinks differently from other children.
