I have been suffering from Crohn's disease for many years now. I can tell you somethings to avoid, but not one thing can cause a flare-up. When you start a flare-up, avoid the following: Chocolate, vegetables, fruits with the peels on them, tomato sauce, anything with oranges in it and soda, basically anything that has a high acid content. Things that help are "Peppermint" prepare like a tea, either hot or cold and drink it often. Drink lots of water and eat mild foods like pasta's, breads, puddings, eggs, etc. Everyone is different and they tolerate foods differently, just try to incorporate a variety of foods into your diet, and see which one's seem to irritate you the most. The most important thing is to drink a lot of fluids. You can become dehydrated very quickly when going throug a flare-up. If I can help further, you can email me at 4j2r@iwon.com. Hope this helps.
