I don't know if anyone here can help but I made the mistake of taking my husband to the hospital as the doctor suggested. He then left on vacation and left a young doctor in charge. His herniated belly button had a very small rupture and he supposedly ended up with an infection and was in a great deal of pain. So as he entered the hospital his liver function looked pretty good. He was diagnosed with Hep. C, cirrohsis, and possible liver cancer 2 1/2 years ago. We have stuck with vitamins and herbs and he had done okay until going to the hospital. After being in the hospital for 2 days the doctor comes and tells us his liver function is not as good as he had first thought!!!! That is because they were giving him all the drugs. Now today they are sending him home and telling me he has to be on pain management, and he is really out of it. I am wondering how to undo the damage they did to his liver while treating a this infection. He is in more pain that when I took him in and the idiot doctor is telling us it is the expanding of the cancer in the liver? Well the pain is in his kidneys not his liver and it seems to be because they have had him on antibiotics and pain medicine. Does anyone here have any advice how to undo the damage the uncarring doctors and nurses have caused. Thanks Katie
