my neighbors do not understand why i cannot be around those with colds- they take it personally even though i have told them it could cause rejection. i am afraid i will alienate all here as it's an older community where metting your uwn needs is personalized instead of being viewed as a sign that my kidney/health must be my most important priority. i have spoken of the consequenses multiple times to no awail. i cnnot be around smokers as i have asthsma and get bronchitis at the drop of a hat. they expect me not to hurt anyone's feelings by just going along and participating in activities with smokers. the repercussions have been . how did anyone else deal with the lack of knowledge among friends and family? please let me know as it is the stres of it is threatening my new kidney. thanks lynne
