my mother has had the same problems as yourself, she thought her life had ended, and ended up depressed over it. she felt like something was stuck in her throat 24/7, she couldnt eat, lost lots of weight, couldnt sleep, as she felt like she was choking, kept burping lots, her neck ached and her mouth was constantly dry, as if no saliva was there. the doctors gave her a saliva spray, lozenges, she had a couple of endos, everything came back clear, blood tests came back clear, she lost all sense of hope, anyway, she also had a barium swallow, and even though her swallowing mechanism seemed to be fine, the doctor did say it was slightly out of sinc. he said that the muscles in her throat and neck were so tensed up maybe this was causing some of the problem. he gave her some diazipan tablets to relax her. since she started taking them a few days ago, she feels like she is 90% back to normal, her muscles in her throat are now so relaxed she isnt having to think about her throat all the time, and she barely feels anything wrong, her moral is back and she seems to be smiling again. hope this might be of some help for you, as it was a nightmare for my mother.
