Hi, I have been going to see a pain management doctor for over a year now. The doctor should try you on a variety of different drugs until one will actually work for you. What might work for me, might not work for you. I am on a med called Duragestic Patch, it comes in 25,50,100. The 50 was great, I had no pain in my arm, hand, back, and legs but with the warm weather coming and I like to be outside, the patch is really not good. It says to stay away from the heat, alcohol, don't get overheated, too much sun, no heating pads, heating blankets, hot showers,and so forth.I have lowered my dose to25 so that the sun will be ok most of the time. The reason it says to stay away is because the more you get hot, the more the med will soak into your system. This patch might work for you and it might not, all depends, but a pain management doctor is the one to go see. Good Luck
