I also know what you are experiencing. I have crohns disease and was given 40mg of Prednisone day for a year till they began to decrease the dosages until now I am no longer on the medication. I did expirience a considerable amount of hair loss. My hair has since grown back to almost how it was before. The only thing that is interesting is that where it was extremely straight in the past now it is wavey in some areas especially the back. But at least my hair has grown back which for a 35 year old woman is important. And I got a body wave thanks to Prednisone. I also experienced excessive swelling throughout my body. Especially my face and feet. All that has also gone away slowly. In my particular case these things have been a small price to pay for regaining my health. Be well......
