My health is very fragile because of the damage to my parathyroid in thyroid removal surgery 16 years ago. I can be going along well and something goes wrong and I have an episode that stops me in my tracks for days. I double up on my calcium and hope for the best, but my active life stops until then. My last episode I feel happened because I was not able to get Rocatrol. and they gave me 50,000 units of Vit. D which I feel set me off because of the change. However, the Dr. took blood work ,750$ worth and he said I was fine, it took me three days to get back to normal. I'am very discouraged, this is happening too often. any advice?
