I have been diagnosed with gout. I have pain in my left foot that immobilizes me for 3-7 days. I am also diabetic. I'm wondering about a couple of things. 1) I need a list of foods to stay away from. 2) Are there any supplements that really work? I'm not one to take anything that is only marginally helpful. 3) I have been told that Pork, chicken and turkey are OK. I was told that Beef is the meat culprit. Is that true or do I need to stay away from these other meats too? Thanks for any comments.
