As a Registered Nurse, I strongly suggest you don't strictly depend on a Primary Care Physician's test results & course of treatments. I had a brain tumor surgically removed in 1988 by an excellent Neurosurgeon & subsequently ended up with post op. Epilepsy controlled completely by medication. I went through 10 years of a MRI with Contrast just to insure the tumor never grew back. I strongly suggest you seek out either an excellent Vascular Surgeon or an excellent Neurosurgeon. I'm not suggesting she needs surgery but these specialists are more up to date on this particular disease along with the best course of treatments. You could possibly get a referral from your Primary Care Physician. If your confidence in your Primary Care Physician isn't that good, then I suggest you phone either the Emergency Room where the patient goes or you could also speak with the Director of Nurses at the hospital for a list of names; just tell her/him you want a more expert second opinion. Usually the first name on the list is the best. Good Luck and my prayers are with you.
