I am Marilyn's friend who had this adverse reaction to Lipitor. It has been two yrs. that I have stopped lipitor and my legs, hips still are weak and constant pain. The pain is always there, but can tolerate it. Have you husband report right away to his dr. if he feels ANY MUSCLE WEAKNESS. My ck count jumped up to 2554, and returned to normal after stopped lipitor, but my muscles have permanent damage. I had to quit my job due to leg muscle weakness. I was a crossing guard for 25yrs.
