I had a very bad fall in 1999 and within six months, i was diagnosed with hashimotos disease. the fall caused a blunt chest trauma and severe whiplash, now i need three disks in my cervical spine fused and have a compressed spinal cord and longitudal ligament stripped away from my spine. i am asking if anyone in the medical field can tell me anything about the metobolic (low basal metabolic temperature) has affected my tissues and thus caused this disease that does not run in my family. I was diagnosed at age 51. I am now 53. HELP
