My Dad (age 65) was recently diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma which has metastisized to the liver and bones. The diagnosis was delayed because he has a number of bone lesions (it was the pain from this that lead him to seek treatment). I understand that bone lesions are rather rare in adult NHL. He will soon start the promace-cytabom regimine. My questions: Does anyone have experience with lytic lesions in adult NHL? Does this have any bearing on treatment selection? Is Aredia (once every 4 wks) considered the best option for the lesions? (I've heard good things about Zometa but don't know much about it.) comments? Thanks! Aaron
