I had the same thing when I worked late, 11.00pm at a store. Here is what helped me. I made sure the bedroom stayed dark. Light can reduce melatonin production, so I would wake up. When I did wake up I took a chewable baby aspirin, 81mg. This helped me get back to sleep. Next medical check up you have, ask your doctor to test your blood sugar. Getting sleepy after eating may be a sign of borderline diabetes. Changes in blood sugar can wake you up. Hope this helps.
