I also have esophageal reflux. I find that when I go on a diet such as weight watchers, which is high in fiber, lots of fruits and vegetables and low in fat, the reflux goes away. I also try not to eat 2 hours before going to bed and elevate the head of my bed a little so that I am not laying down flat in bed. I hope that this helps.
