my son had that and til this he is 7 has that , its on both sides of his peri area butterfly shaped when it gets worse, i put a fugal cream on him like u use to treat foot fungus , it helps him also at times it doesnt and u need to put something dry like medicated powder , that worked as well too, try using oinment during the day cuz he still uses diapers and then dry wheen he goes to bed ..
