I'm a mother of three beautiful children. I was diagnosed with Waardenburg Syndrome at 6 months old. I am profoundly deaf in both ears, blue/brown eyes, and early grewing of the hair. My oldest daughter has blue/green eyes and no hearing impairment. My other kids are normal, no signs of the syndrome. My father had white forelock years ago in his 20s. Nobody in my family had it but I believed I got this gene from my father. He didn't believe it. But living with the syndrome made me special and very unique.
