I am sorry to read about your illness. I do have some advice as to seeking alternative treatment for your low platelet count as a bone marrow transplant should be the last consideration. I suggest you contact National Institutes of Health - Dr. Young or Dr. Tisdale for a consultation. Their treatment is free and they are very knowledgable in treating these type of disorders. They treated my wife for aplastic anemia (low blood counts) and probably saved her life. Bone marrow transplants are very risky and caution should be taken before you decide on that form of treatment. Good luck & god bless you.
