I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease after a three week stint in the hospital and the biopsies they took during a colonscopy said I have Crohn's disease. While making an appt with the gastro man , his nurse said he had gotten my records today and that he didnt think I had Crohn's because the Prep that they use to clean you out before the procedure can make it look like you have crohn's disease---WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT??????????????am I on a see-saw or what?? I also have several other chronic diseases that cause pain including interstitial cystitis and fibromyalgia. Many of the symptoms I have really fit with a diagnosis of Crohns disease and this gastro man wont even see me until mid december..HELP!!!
