Everyone: I'm so glad I found this site. I just received a phone call from my doctor's office. The nurse informed me that my thyroid was low. They took blood tests a couple days ago, and found that my TSH is 8.75. I, of course, got on my computer, and looked up all I could find, and have figured out that I may have hypothyroidism. I'm 32 years old, and have 3 children. I originally went to the doctor because I was feeling really tired, and depressed, also very grouchy, and moody. He put me on Serafem for PMDD. I'm wondering if perhaps, this hypothyroidism is causing my symptoms. Could anyone help me with this problem? Could I have hypothroidism, and if so, what medication, or steps should I take?
