I walked into a restaurant's restroom earlier today and found white powder wiped all over the floor, dusted on the seat of the commode, wiped on the trash can, and on the paper towel dispenser. (It looked like talcum powder.) I immediately left and notified a worker at the restaurant as well as a police officer who happened to be on a break at the time. They both downplayed it as no big deal, and the worker went in to clean up the mess. I don't want to panic about something like this; however, I don't want to pass it off if it is a legitimate concern. How likely is it that this volume of powder could contain anthrax? And, is it worthwhile to make an appointment with my doctor to be checked? (I'm also 3 months pregnant.) Thanks for your response!
