Hi my 8 year old son was diagnosed with cellulitis on his knee.He has been given 500mg of rociphin for the past 2 days and taking 400mg a day of augmentin.My question is how long will they give him these shots before they decide to put him in the hospital.I mean he has been to dr. for two days in a row now and the swelling is down but he still has an area of redness and it is hot to the touch.I just hope this doesnt get out of control before his doctor takes action.Please give me any advice.Thanks
