Hello Bob, I was just browsing through the forum and I came across your post I myself have not had this terrible disease, but my 55 year old grandma does have it. She contracted it when she was 25 after undergoing a blood transfusion. Well to make a long story short it led to Cirrhosis and she had to have a liver transplant 3 years ago when she was 52 on march 28, 1998. After her recovery my grandma and myself had constructed a webpage for the aid and support of Hepatitis C and Related things including treatments. I dont know if you are on a different treatment or not but she was on Interferon and Ribrovirin, She had terrible side effects. Well I took up enough of your time.
