Sounds to me you may be hypoglycemic. If you are, you should try a low carb diet. And you may even notice as you eat carbs, that you get tired and sleepy. I went on a low carb diet as I had symptoms of hypo plus realized that I am carbohydrate intolerant. When you ingest carbs you can get very tired, sleepy, cranky, bloat up, etc. Try going under 20 carbs a day for a week or two and see if you feel better.
