I CAN RELATE TO YOUR PAIN.. I HAVE HAD I.B.S. FOR SEVERAL YEARS. FOR A LONG TIME I DIDNT KNOW WHAT IT WAS. I HAD ALL KINDS OF TEST WHICH CAME UP NEGATIVE. FINALLY I WENT TO A COLON SPECIALIST ANDHE TOLD ME IT WAS I.B.S. THIS IS WHAT HE TOLD ME TO DO SO I TRIED IT.. EVERY MORNING I EAT ABOUT ONE THIRD CUP OF (FIBER ONE CERIAL). YOU CAN PUT IT ON TOP OF ANOTHER KIND THAT YOU LIKE TO EAT IF YOU WANT. STAY AWAY FROM CAFFINE, POP, CHOCHOLATE AND SUGAR FOODS. DRING PLENTY OF WATER AND EAT VEGETABLES. BUTTER CAN ALSO BE A TRIGGER FOOD. ALL THESE FOOD PRODUCTS CAUSE GAS AND PAIN WITH I.B.S. SINCE I HAVE BEEN VERY CAREFUL AND WATCH WHAT I EAT I HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER. ILL CATCH MYSELF SAYING IM BETTER AND ILL END UP EATING SOMETHING I SHOULDNT AND I GET SICK EVERYTIME.. ICE CREAM CAN ALSO CAUSE IT.. THE KEY IS IF IT BOTHERS YOU DONT EAT IT..YOU HAVE TO FIND THE TRIGGER FOODS THAT MAKE YOU SICK AND STAY AWAY FROM THEM.. BUT THE FIBER ONE HAS BEEN A LIFE SAVER..IT DOESNT TASTH GOOD BUT IT WORKS. YOU HAVE TO EAT IT EVERY MORNING FAITHFULLY.. IF YOU MISS AND THEN EAT SOMETHING YOU SHOULDNT YOU WILL END UP SICK..I HAVE HAD MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE THROUGH TRIAL AND ERROR... YOUR DOCTORS NEED TO RULE OUT OTHER THINGS IT COULD BE. LIKE HAVE A COLONOSCOPY DONE. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU, IT HAS WORKED WONDERS FOR ME.. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS, SINCERELY, BARB.
