My daughter is 30 and has been tanning in a bed for over 10 years. A few months ago she used a new location to tan and on her 2nd visit got extremely burnt - head to toe! She has suffered internally and externally. Her skin was so red with swelling, her face swelled and her lips were covered with blisters. Her body temp went up and down. Nausia, lack of energy etc. She went to a doctor who really didn't do much. Now 3 months later, her face has yet to heal. She is emotionally and physically a wreck. She has been to a lawyer to bring a law suite againt the tanning shop. Her problem no is getting a dermatoligist to see her. They "don't" want to get involved. This girl has been going through hell all summer. Don't need to be preached upon the damage of tanning beds, just some suggestions.
