Hi, I had my first Mammography in June 2001, at 41.I was told that day I had microcalcifications in both breasts & would need a biopsy, (Steriotactic biopsy)I have had 4, two in the right, 2 in the left.I learned, I had a Radial scar.I just had surgery to remove it,wire Localization, then excisional biopsy (removal of tissue). Not to bad. I now sit and wait for the results.Has anyone else had radial scar tissue removed. PS. I have to say, all of the professionals I have dealt with, have been absolutely wonderful. Brick Hospital in Ocean County New Jersey. Sincerely, Jill
