My 2 yr old son was diagnosed with Poland Syndrome at the age of 1. He is missing his pectoralis major and has only a small remmnant of pec minor. We feel like we are spinning our wheels. I have taken him to a pediatric plastic surgeon in Kansas City, Mo. He told me not to do anything surgery wise, until he gets around 13 yrs old. I am taking him for a 2nd opinion next week here in Chicago. I am just trying to get some info on the surgery. The plastic surgeon in Kansas City, Mo briefed me on the different surgery's. I just want whats best for my son. I don't know if he's better off waiting to have surgery until he's older or not. I f anyone has any info or can share their exp I would be more than happy to listen. Thank Kerry G/CHI
