I am a 21 year old female who until last year was very active in a variety of sports. Last November I underwent a fasciotomy in each lower leg to correct chronic exertional compartment syndrome. Since this time, my compartment syndrome has returned. I have been seeing a physical therapist 3-5 times/wk for the last several weeks. Originally, the therapists and doctors were optimistic about me being able to run again. However, now they wonder if I will ever run, let alone walk again w/o pain. I need to run to be happy. If you have any suggestions, stories, or recommendations for treatments, please let me know. Thanks, Bailey
