I have had those Synvisc injections three yrs in a row, it is a series of 3 injections in knees -1 wk apart, after 6-9 wks it helps, I take Vioxx, I am hearing that a new and less invasive surgery may be available in 2 yrs or more. The replacement they do here now is really invasive and lengthy rehab follows, I have spinal stenosis and Drs want to do both knees at one surgery--- and want me to stay awake so I will know if they are hurting my upper spine!!!AAAARG!!!!!
