I have a friend who has discovered that she has a brain tumor. This woman is a well educated, independent, strong, religious, and well rounded humorous person. All her life with the help of God she has faced everything put before her. She always thanked Him for giving her strength to conquer whatever that came before her. Now this lady is not independent any longer. She can't drive herself when she's ready to go. She is always tired because of the radiation treatments. The medication is making her feel lifeless. She has confessed that she has been told by her doctors these side effects are to be expected. I have never suffered, so far, with cancer, except through relatives. I can't know how she feels mentally and physically and what steps of moods she is going through. I can only understand by my being there for her to pounce off feelings. I need info and someone to tell me from a personal experience. She has been told a few days ago that the tumor has decreased from the size of a lime and now is the size of a quarter. Thank you, Jesus. Does this mean it shall become smaller? Please someone out there give me some feedback. I'm going to get info from articles so she can read up on it so she can not feel so helpless if her husband agrees this is best for her.
