We had a one week old newborn baby girl who was diagnosed with cyst. But pedetricians has not been able to identify the cause of the cyst. It is located somewhere at the lower right near to the abdominal. A CT scan also did not reveal the answer. Please shed some light to this matter as me and my wife are really worried. According to the physician, this is not very common among babies. It is a well defined, collection of fluid, soft and connot be felt by touch and it is about 5cm in diameter at the largest portion. The physician says it could be an ovarian cyst, but cannot be confirmed at this stage. Please help..Thank you.
