My 4 1/2 year old daughter has always had what we thought to be a rash that came and went on her face. The older she gets it seems to stay, but it varies in redness and bumps. She now has it on the back of her upper fore-arms. It does not seem to bother her and we have been waiting for my husband to get medical insurance to have her looked at. We are certain we will be referred to a skin specialist rather than her pediatrician trying to diagnose it. Does this sound like any certain type of "rash"? One person told me that it almost looks like eczema, but I have seen eczema and although it DOES come in various appearances, I have never seen it look like what my daughter has.
