My husband Randy was diagnosed with A.S. in 1993 he has been taking indocid along with tylonol #3. He has been generally o.k. with ocasional flare ups. He is currently having one and is missing quite a bit of work. Have any of you tried or heard about cortisone shots for helping with A.S.? Also, I once read something about this being transferred through bodily fluids.Anyone heard of this? Is it hereditary? How do A.S. sufferers work? Randy is a carpenter by trade. Any info would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.
