I am in desperate need of a support group or someone to talk to regarding this illness. My daughter was diagnosed in January 1998, she has severe mouth sores and pain, she is only 35 pounds, she is always weak and full of pain they have tried, Tylenol with codeine, Ibuprofen, demoral, you name it none can combat the pain she suffers. We donot have any potential matches for a Bone Marrow transplant. She has recently contracted a disease called CMV Retinits, this disease causes severe non reversible damage to The Retina, she has lost complete sight in one eye and partial in the other eye, she is being treated with a medication called Foscarnet, this medication causes damage to the Kidneys, and recently she has been leaking protein in her urine. I am at my witts end and I hope you know of any place or anyone I can get any kind of help from. Sincerly Katrina Tucker
