Dear Linda, Your dilated blood vessels are very probably Telangiectasias. Remember that Rosacea is a 'vascular' problem - not a skin problem. There are now excellent laser's or Photoderm which will help reduce them considerably. Never use Topical steroids, Hydrocortisone etc -- which may give temporary relief - but, may eventually end up causing what you are trying to get rid of. I had my second treatment with the Photoderm two days ago. Make sure you find an 'excellent'& experienced dermatologist. The procedure is usually not covered by insurance - but if left untreated the dilation will get worse & you will flush more often. Best Wishes. A.S.
