Hi, I'm curious as to what I can find out about Ataxia. My Fiancee' has it. Is it always hereditary? Since we were hoping to someday have children, but he is very concerned about passing it on. I also read a message from someone else that they knew someone who died from it. That terrifies me because he means the world to me, and I can't stand to think of loseing him. He was still born and then revived, is there a chance that may have been the cause? I'm curious as to what the causes may be and any advice anyone has to make things better for him. He still walks unassisted, although it is very difficult for him. He's doing much better than doctors had expected, although he seems to be having more trouble lately. He was told that the more exercise he gets, the slower it will progress. Is this true? Thank you anyone who can answer any of my questions.
