When I was in my mid 30's ( I'm 54 now) I discovered lumps also, and they were diagnosed as Fibrocystic Breast Disease; but it's not really a 'disease' it's just certain places where the breast tissue is denser. I've had ultrasounds twice, and you might try just asking the technician before she starts exactly what she's looking for. If they don't think you are going to freak out, they might be more forthcoming with what they see on the screen. Maybe if they see a 'hot spot' they're not allowed to tell you, since they are not the official person who 'reads' the ultrasound. In my case, she muttered that she couldn't find anything suspicious in the area where they said the mammogram showed a 'nodule' and that was a great relief! I hope all goes well for you. Don't be afraid to ask ask ask when you have questions. I also found that reading Psalms 91 and Isaiah 53 and talking to Jesus helped me with the stress! Amanda Tillotson
