If possible I would like specific answers about Turner Syndrome. I believe my co-worker was mis-informed or didn't understand what she was told about Turner Syndrome. Some history about the co-worker. She (ACCORDING TO HER) carries some type of chromosomal defect that will only allow her to have girls who would be infertile. She said something about "Turner Syndrome". However, from the readings about Turner Syndrome I thought it was impossible to know if you are going to pass the defective or missing gene onto your children? My co-worker said that when they tested her baby(pregnacy ended in a miscarriage) for any abnormalities they found that the baby had turner syndrome. She said that if she ever gets pregnant again it will be a girl, it will be infertile, it will have turner syndrome. Is it possible to know prior to determine what you will have prior to conception and know that your child will have the disease based on the finding of one miscarriage?
