I am interested in exchanging views with anyone who has a child with dystonia. My granddaugter was diagnosed with it at 3, she is now 4. She does not have the DYT1 gene. She throws her left foot out, and cannot run. She is on Artane, and it seems to help, but I am not so sure even of that. She has seen several specialists, who just say to keep in touch. It could be secondary also, and I would like to know if anyone has experience with either primary or secondary childhood dystonia? Thanks, Kay
