My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2000. The tumor is actually wrapped around her aorta that is behind the pancrease. They could not remove the tumor, but tried to kill the nerves. Right now the doctors say it hasn't spread to other organs. She has gone through chemo and radation and started chemo again this week. She is now back in the hospital because of the sevre pain. She also tried a pain treatment where thery go in through the spine and shoot something to kill more nerves and that didn't help. She could deal with things better if they could control the pain. Could someone give me any advise please! Thank you so much!
