I have had tinnitus for over 1 year and have been to many Drs. I recently was told I have TMJ and had a bite plate made but they don't know for sure if it will help with the tinnitus. I also have cervical herniated disks and the tinnitus started during a Physical Therapy session! Meanwhile Iam taking Zoloft to help with the depression caused from the tinnitus and it's not really helping. I've heard Xanax is helpful but my MD ( Psychiatrist)said he doesn't prescribe it because it is addictive. If anybody with tinnitus has any answers please help - this is taking over my life.
