My MRI exam report came back reading: The cervical vertebral bodies are unremarkable in appearance. The C5-C6 disc demonstrates large posterior midline disc protrusion producing mild midline anterior cord compression. There are no definite lateralizing components, There are no marginal end plate, uncovertebral joint, or facet osteophytes. The central canal is developmentally adequate and there are no intradural abnormalities. The craniocervical junction is unremarkable. What does this all mean?
