My 9-year old daughter was diagnosed with precocious puberty when she was 6. She has been taking Lupron injections once a month ever since. Contact a pediatric endocrinologist if at all possible. They can give you a lot of information. There is a website that will scare you to death about Lupron, but the cases that are discussed there are NOT people who were taking Lupron for precocious puberty, but for other reasons. The biggest concern is for your daughter's eventual height and bone density (osteoporosis risk).
