My sister who is adopted and had problems in her late 20's . They also thought it was psychological. Took her to many psychiatrists and nothing. At age 32 she was diagnosed with Huntington's . It is very sad. She was vert athletic and deteriated fast. She is now 39 and totally in a wheelchair. She can't feed herself or do much of anything alone. My parents( ages 72 and 75) tried to take care of her for 6 years. It got so bad that they finally were able to get her in a home that specializes in Huntingtons. It is called JFK Hardwyck in NJ, They have a special section there for Huntington Patients and she is so happy there! Also getting stronger! Please feel free to E mail me.
