Several people in the neighborhood including myself have experienced a condition, where the whole body aches. It started with a one day flu symptoms and gradually your whole body became so weak and painful that it was difficult to get up from a chair. Symptoms Blurred vision, depression, night sweats, muscle atrophy, general weakness, swollen and stiff hands. Others have reported in particular stiffness in the index finger on the left hand and the middle finger on the right hand. Others have been on predisone for as long as 8 years. Some have been on predisone for 2-3 months. All have been tested for Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lyme, and about everything that they could think of with negative results. One infected person is a Medical Doctors wife, and she has been on predisone for at least a couple of years.I had been diagnosed with epstien barre and have been treated for it, and have been told that it is at a low level and should be no problem. The symptoms are still with me but I feel much better. I am in much better condition than the others, and I am just taking aspirin. The pain seems to be in the muscles of the legs and inflammation seems to be in the tendons. There are all age levels involved. Any information would be appriciated. Thank You
